I have already told Cory a little bit about this one, and ofcourse Big D has asked us to lend a hand in the planning.

1st thing to tackle.....classification!

Remember, this is all coming out of E&R's pocket to begin with, so the fewer amounts of trophies that we need the better.

Before anyone asks, Team Anonymous WILL NOT be competing at this show, we are helping to put the show on and if we compete, there is a conflict of interests!! Lets help E&R make this show BAD ASS!

I personally think that the IFO classes would be perfect for this show. They always work well at IFO, so why would they not work well at this one? They are simple and to the point. Possible add or take away a couple to make it more "appealing" to the E&R crowd....whatever crowd that may be! rofl

ok where is this event being held?

will the location of the event be able to hold 20 cars, 50 cars, 100 cars?

i think we hand pick a couple of classifications and go with maybe 10-15 classes/trophies. obviously with this being E&R's first show we want this to be a success. i feel that we would not have enough cars to support all the classes listed above. but want everyone to go home happy. i know that it will be hard to please everyone. but if we can continue to draw a crowd, we can add more classes and prizes in the years to come.

and ultimately this is to support charity....so we want happy competitors to come back next year.

classes that i can foresee this event appealing too, or justification for trophies is as follows:

1. best club representation/paticipation
2. best of show
3. best honda
4. best scion
5. best import
6. best domestic
7. best domestic truck/suv
8. best import truck/suv
9. best bike
10. best under construction (what is the typical rule on this? less than 50% complete?)

is T-A the only ones promoting this show? does anyone from our group know how to directly get ahold of any hmfic's from other charters? ie...40 and 5th? scikotics? what bout the mini truckin guys?

just some thoughts i could come up with real quick. lets hear some more input!!

The venue is going to be the Bell Isle wal-mart parking lot.

As for HMFICs, I know how to get ahold of scikotics no problem, 40 and 5th shouldn't be to big of a problem, just have to get ahold of Ray and let him do his thing. I don't know any truckin guys...soo.....

As for promotion, we are the only ones right now. You guys know I can guarantee 5 or so scions no problem. Scikotics will def be up for promoting the show, they are huge into charity work.

i like the classifications, short and sweet, and maybe throw in a couple of extra trophies to add additional classes on the fly!? Cory, since you are more into the bike scene, what about having 2 bike classes? Street and Cruiser?

i like the venue....its a big A parking lot. but at the same time...its a wal-mart. wal-marts are always busy. so do we go early and get with the manager to "rope off" an area?

i can spread the word within the truckin community. are we going to have flyers for this show? that would help everyones promotion!!

yes i def agree with adding a few extra trophies for classes on the fly. who knows what will show up that day! lol

i dont have a problem adding bike classes. just dont really know where to start promoting the bikes. i guess once flyers are in hand, and bike nights start up in the spring it shouldnt be hard to promote?

and as far as HMFIC's im not trying to limit to scikotics and 40 & 5th....just the only two teams i could think of. of course im all for the more the merrier!!!

E&R is going to handle the parking area for the show. Appartently they have an in with a manager or something over there so that won't be an issue.

I will make up some flyers once we get closer and we have a date/time set and all that jazz.

Only way I really know of to promote a show that ALL the local clubs would see would be like okspeed since they have such a large user base. Word would get around pretty quick over there.

Ok, here is the final classifications that I am thinking of. I am thinking do Best of and a Runner up (assuming the class is big enough, 3 or more entries). We would do all of these classes, 2 trophies per class, plus 3-4 additional trophies for on the fly class additions.

Thoughts...comments...suggestions....

We need to get this to E&R soon so that they can start planning out the event. If you guys have any ideas on people that would like to help out with giveaways/door prizes throw some ideas out there!

01. Best club Participation (most entries)
02. Best of Show (competitor judging)
03. Best Honda
04. Best Scion
05. Best Import
06. Best Domestic
07. Best Full Size Truck
08. Best Mini Truck
09. Best Bike
10. Best Under Construction
